Okay, THIS day was one for the books! Katie and James got married at her family cabin the Summer of 2020. They got married on a warm day in July at the SAME cabin her parents (and many other family members) had gotten married at. The day started with a sweet fist look on a bridge overlooking the creek. We then headed up to her family cabin where they had an incredibly sweet ceremony setup for their closes friends and family.
These two made time for one of their favorite northern activites which is canoeing – that’s right, these two went for a canoe ride in their wedding attire! It was SO sweet and so fun to capture. I was so giddy and happy the entire time. This day was filled with plenty of smiles, laughs, and tears of joy. As always, I was definitely crying behind the camera during this ceremony.
The day then ended with a small reception at Brule Lake Barn where we all celebrated with a buffet, donuts, and some sweet toasts to the newly weds. We chased the sunset for golden hour and it was one heck of a day!
